Let's forget about all these one night stands from a bar. If you know the guy and have sex with him, does that mean that you are attracted to him more than physically?

And if you date a guy, and have sex with him, do you feel more attached to him after?

Yes.

Yes.

I am an anomaly and can't just hook up. I have to love the man and want to share myself and he with me. But, I'm old at middle age, so there's that.

I am a guy

Okay just reverse the sense of being the woman role. But this tends to be her choice not yours. You have to ask her what she makes from all of this.

If the sex is mind blowing most women get hooked right away.

I'm glad you said most not all because I'm not one of those women who did. :p I'm with amaysngrace, has to be really hot outside of bed too.....

wow, I never knew women were so into hooking up they'd do it out of sheer boredom!

LOL, explains a lot about my experiences lately; I was shocked the ladies were putting out so quickly. I thought I had skills, or they were into me, now I know they were just bored or whatever. Who knew???

sometimes, for some people, sex is just something to do. That's it.

The vast majority of women that I've had sex with have wanted to LTR.

I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. Life is confusing.

Yeah i know, right? Definitely a real eye opener.

And for me too, yes it would explain a couple of unexpected romantic romps.

I've now been with 4 women on the first date in the last 6 months. They've all made remarks like "I can't believe we're doing this" and "you're going to think I do this a lot" ... well, I didn't think that, and I thought we had a great connection with relationship potential each time. Each one has later blown me off for different (stated) reasons.

Were they all just bored looking for hookups or am I just bad in bed? They all seemed to enjoy it greatly; not sure why you'd fake it just to ghost later on. Oh well.

I knew, but I just can't seem to get the balance right, and tick that box for whatever reason :D

My experience is that women want more and more, attention/dates/commitment/sex/, until I don't feel like I can give more than I am. And then they want a bit more on top of that too. It's like a bottomless pit. I feel the pressure, and a pure straight-forward sexual relationship with no games would be very nice. I'd like to be "used" for sex.

I think it's one of those ironic things where women want the opposite things than you do. If I had to conjecture why, I would hazard a guess and say maybe validation. It's not something that I really understand.

I think there is a lot to say about being the guy that women screw NSA, tbh. But, I'm personally at the point in life where I consider it a lot of effort just for one night. Not worth the emotional investment and searching costs.
