Getting a second chance, and not messing it up

I need some help. Friday she says she wants to take a break. This week she's still calling, asking for rides, and we're hanging out on occasion. It shows that she still wants to be with me, and I still love her, so.... what do I do? Do I enforce the break and give her space? I feel it's too soon to talk about our problems, but I don't want to push them off for so long nothing gets done... So confusing.

Heres something to remember. Women to tend to say the opposite of what they want.

You have to keep an eye on thier actions.

 

She probably got freaked out by something or just needed some time to herself.

 

What kind of problems are we talking about?

give her space and let her lead .... but also dont let her use you for company or for a cushion if she is feeling bad for hurting you. i would give her more space than you currently are giving her and if she has a problem with that, tell her how confused it makes you feel to hear her say that she needs time away from you but she keeps calling. she needs to figure out what she wants without dragging you along.

It's really hard to balance these situations out. You need to enforce what she said, don't act like it didn't happen. Don't let her use you for company and then as soon as she finds someone else...poof (happened to me). Still talk to her, but be mysteriously busy with other things. Pretend she isn't your #1 priority and you are getting other things in order.

 

Sometimes when you give a woman what she wants, she magically doesn't want it anymore.

If she's young and not fully matured yet, she's more than likely taking you for granted. Stand strong, and stick with the break. There's usually a reason they ask for it, and its 10 to 1 that they want to see if "The grass is greener on the other side."
