Is it just me or are younger men now taking a strong interest in 'older' women? I don't consider myself "old", however, it seems like it's the guys much younger than me are the ones showing interest. Which can give me an ego boost, I suppose. It's nice to know I'm still attractive enough to draw the attention from guys much younger. I don't know...what do you guys think? Is this the new "in" thing? For younger guys to go for older women? Maybe it's not so new. I don't know, so that's why I'm asking. Maybe younger guys are attracted to someone who is not so dependent on them? Can make their own living or god forbid have their own home or whatever; just be more 'set'....what is the drawing power here? I don't really get it, but it just seems to me I'm always getting checked and asked out for dates or to just 'hang ou' with younger men....

When I've done OLD, I've had this issue as well and I assume it's just about sex. They'll tell you and over and over how they just prefer "mature" women because they "know what they want." I think it's usually the other way around....the guy knows what HE wants and perhaps assumes an older (divorced mom in my case) is desperate or something. My 76 year old mother gets messaged by men in their 30s and 40s, and trust me, it's not because she looks hot . (Not saying you don't). In her case, I'm assuming it's about money. She says, "Oh they just think they can have sex with me and there's no chance of getting me pregnant!!" LOL

It is my opinion that young men today simply are not as interested in a LTR and seeking more lonely, MILFs or cougars for sex. I suspect that they figure that these older ladies are feeling lonely and would be very flattered to be hit on by a younger guys, so easier access to sex. There is a maturity thing as well, but in the end, most young guys are going to go back to younger girls. 1

preraph Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 It was always younger guys who were interested in me when I was in my 20s and 30s. I think it has more to do with what you're like and your interests than how old you are maybe. They liked me because I was up to my neck in music stuff, mostly.
