the_lost_1 Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Anyone feel the same? Basically I'll probably find it uncomfortable if anyone likes me, ever. Especially as someone who has never had a girlfriend or anything. So I doubt anything is going to happen as I continue to age older into death. Quote
Miss Spider Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Sometimes I do feel the same, yes. Maybe you think others won't because you don't. You should like you Or work every day to become the person you would like Quote
SammySammy Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 It would only be uncomfortable if I wasn't interested in them. If the feeling is mutual, then there's no problem. That's what I would be looking for. Someone I like who likes me back. Quote

Miss Spider Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 I just hope I die soon, then changing that needs to be the first thing you work on. Getting to a point where you can be alone without wanting to die. You think an SO will be the antidote to that but it will just make your problems different, greater. It will be putting a bandaid over a bullet wound nothing works trust me. I highly doubt you have tried everything You have good advice to another in a thread to a guy who was having insecurity issues [...] Work on your charisma or personality, that comes first. The girl I liked from okcupid, i thought she was interested in me but apparently i got ghosted or catfished so she basically wants to be friends but w/e It happens. Meet girls earlier to weed out the flakes and catfish earlier . Quote
Author the_lost_1 Posted August 5, 2017 Author Posted August 5, 2017 I'll be honest with you, I never click with anyone, ever. Seriously. It's because of my condition. My speaking skills suck and ears are fked up. I was born healthy until I was sick when I was infant which caused permanent damage to my fkin ears thus causing my speech skills to mess up. Not many people understand this so I'm stuck being alone and everything. By the way, is that you in your pic? If so, damn you're almost like Christina Aguilera or the younger version of her. 1 Quote
Author the_lost_1 Posted August 6, 2017 Author Posted August 6, 2017 i may give good advice but doesn't mean it applies to me, because it can't 1 Quote
Miss Spider Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 I don't 'click' with many people, either, romantically. It isn't about your condition necessarily because as people have said here before people with those issues and much worse find people they click with all the time. But I completely understand for some people it's harder. It takes a longer to time to find someone right. Are you against receiving counseling or you just don't believe it would work for you. Quote
Author the_lost_1 Posted August 6, 2017 Author Posted August 6, 2017 I have seen a counsellor when i was in college, does that count? I mean, I gotta admit, I can't stop looking at your pic lol. But seriously, obviously finding a best (female) friend is important before she can be considered a girlfriend, right? And I'm already struggling at this stage, and always will. I mean, I apologize that I'm not perfect enough, I apologize for having a stupid condition that I never asked for, I apologize for everything. 1 Quote
