Theres this guy at my job, i work at the mall, hes a security guard ....we usually just say hi or goodmorning when i see him but i think hes attractive but i dont know how to approach him because we dont really talk to each other besides hello ...the other day a little girl got lost from her mom and he came to me for help ...so I helped him find the little girls mother but after that he and another security guard left ...but as he was leaving we both at the same time looked back at each other ...i need advice asap i dont know how to approach him to like start getting to know him lol ...sounds so weird but it true and im not the big flirt type unless he flirta with me first ...
d0nnivain Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Just keep saying hi & smiling when you see him. Perhaps, one day get up the courage to ask him to stay & chat. Ask about the little girl, ask about his job, did he see anything interesting that day? just get him chatting.

I have security at my work and while it's not a mall environment with a lot of public, there's some time for some chitchat. An opener could be how things went with the little girl the other day. You could bemoan the crazy customers you encountered and ask how things are going for him and if it's "one of those days." You could simply ask if he did anything fun on the weekend when you greet each other. If he has the time and can take the time, he will chat with you...remember, he's working, but a bit of small talk can go a long way.
