Numb Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 Very bad idea. Been there, done that and it was not fun.
littlekitty Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 It's a very bad idea. Been there, done it. Now imagine you fall for one of these men, have a short relationship, he ends it much to your dismay. And then.... you spend the next months working with him, seeing him at work, over hearing conversations about new relationships he's in etc. Uggghhhh!! It rips your heart out. Don't date anyone at work.
A Fly onThe Wall Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 It won't be long and the 3.. or more guys will start to compare notes.. Do you want to be the office tease or slu* ? and fishing from the company pier is alway's a bad idea
westernxer Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 Definitely no fishing from company waters. I admit to having a crush on several women in the office, but they'll never know it. Actually, I'd rather bang them and leave it at that, but I have standards to live up to (ha!).
crazy_grl Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 If you want to be taken seriously at work, don't date people who work there. Especially don't date multiple people.
Guest Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 Kinda late to tell her to NOT date at work, she's already kissed some of 'em.
westernxer Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 In that case, she better get her umbrella ready, in case a storm comes her way.
elijahBailey Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 if there wasn't any sex involved then maybe the damage was minimal.... but I doubt it And yeah, I've seen a female colleague date someone at work, then broke up..... then found another one at work again, broke up again..... and now she seeing another ( you guessed it ) at work again. All I gotta say is, it ain't pretty.
morrigan Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 It's not a good idea. Not every company has an actual policy against it, but it still looks unprofessional to use your workplace as a pickup joint. Don't assume it won't change your supervisor's attitude towards you. Some wouldn't care, but some would be bothered.
