turnerik Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 I started dating this girl a few weeks ago. We've been on three dates and now on Thursday I'm leaving for vacation in Canada for a week with my dad and she's coming with. I'm 24, she's 27 and we just have so much passion for each other. I've never met anyone like her. We talk all the time and have fallen for each other. Has anyone had any experience of going on a long vacation with someone you just started dating? We've had sex multiple times and there won't be much sex going on when my dad is there, but it sounds crazy but we both are weird and I just think It will be fun and exciting.
CautiouslyOptimistic Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Go for it. I always say one of the best ways to judge compatibility is to go away together, so you're just checking that box off right out of the gate . 1
d0nnivain Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 You are not crazy but you are in lust. It's too soon to say love & you certainly shouldn't start planning long term like moving in or marriage but enjoying a vacation should be fine. Have fun. 1
pies Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 You don't sound crazy at all. It's the infatuation/big chemistry period, so I see it as perfectly normal. Take the chance to get to know each other better! 1
The Urbanyst Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 This is called "the honeymoon stage". Enjoy it because it won't last. Not saying your relationship won't last.. just saying its not going to be this exciting forever.
Steve51 Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 I saw my wife on a train, fell in love and was engaged 3 weeks later. She was a virgin so sex was not what attracted me to her. We are married 45 years. So you are not crazy. After many, oh so many, girls, I just knew when I saw my wife that we would spend our lives together. We still do not know why we are attracted to each other as we have nothing in common. She feels that she is not in my league but I think the opposite. All we have is undying love between us and that has been enough for a very happy marriage. 1

OP, you're not crazy, enjoy your vacation.
