smile95 Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Just wondering something......does the Maid of Honor have to give a toast when the best man does at the reception? I have seen some do this and some do not? anyone know what is supposed to be done?
Zaira Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 Traditionally, no. The bride's party doesn't speak at all - unless they want of course!

manders_01 Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 I just stood up in my best friends wedding. I gave a toast - the best man did also. You might just double check with the bride if she would like you to or not. I had every intention of giving one, and the bride was all for it.
