My h was looking at craigslist sex ads for hours. But he had also contacted at least one of them. Look at your h email. Someone else said it but where theres smoke there is fire!

I was going to agree with the others, but then I noticed that you cried and got upset just because he looked at a woman's FB page???

In no way am I advocating his behaviour (cheating is wrong regardless of the reason), but in the future it would certainly do you well to work on this insecurity. It's extremely normal for people to have both male and female friends on FB, or to look up the profile of someone who happens to be of the opposite sex. I can understand the concern re: Craigslist (especially if it was frequent/constant instead of a one-time thing), not FB.

There are tons of men on dating sites who claim to be happily married but looking for variety, and I get the impression that in our decadent, empire-in-decline times, this is sharply on the rise. I think this behavior is largely hidden from married women, for obvious reasons, but out in the open for single women. From what I've seen, most of them intend to keep $upporting their wives/kids, as they'd lose too much in divorce, but are actively seeking free or paid additional sex partners.

OP, who he looks at one Facebook is a very minor thing. Contacting people on Craigslist is not. Stand firm on that, but choose your battles. Facebook shouldn't be one.

OK, but there is looking at women on FB and there is looking at women on FB, It really depends on the women he is looking at and if he is contacting them or setting up meetings with them as to whether it can be viewed as "minor".

I doubt that ^^^ can be seen as a "minor thing"...

Even leaving out the escort/prostitute side of FB, then many many people have dated/met/hooked up with others on FB.

Good point. Chatting up women on FB, looking for "the seedier side" with hookups and such would be, to me, the same thing as CL.
