I broke up with my b/f of 4 years recently. Although he was sometimes a jerk, and not that affectionate he was pretty well endowed. I just started seeing this guy about 2 weeks ago that's really sweet. He seems to really like me and we started messing around the other night, but no sex.

 

I know this must sound so horrible, but I'm not sure I can handle dating a guy this size. I got pretty used to being with someone that's about double him. Does anyone have any experience with the difference when starting to date a smaller guy? I just feel like there's no way I'll be satisfied. Please be honest with your posts, and I'm sorry to any guys reading this

Just so you know some more of the situation...

 

I would really hate to sleep with him and then decide he's not the guy for me. I'm not one that's into one night stands, and to top it off we were friends (from work) for a few months before he told me he has a crush on me.

 

To make matters worse, we work together in a large office with a friend of mine who coincidently has had a crush on him for a few months. This past weekend that didnt seem to matter as much though since I met his ex-fiance who came by his place to get him back. She was very sweet to my face so I felt bad for her and tried to remain silent since I respected her situation. She then spoke to him the next day about how I'm not good enough for him and I look like a ****. Lots of 4-5 letter disparaging remarks from a girl I'd never met and tried to be nice to.

 

I guess it's not entirely the size thing that's stopping me, but this whole complicated situation. I've only been broken up with my b/f for 3 months. I feel like at this point I have no clue what I want and I just don't want to hurt him, or get hurt if I decide I like him.

I would bow out of further involvement. The work, ex etc complications make involvement too big a risk when it's physically not really clicking for you.

Ya know I think it's funny .. There are dozens of posts on LS about why men like big breasts or small breasts and the general feeling of these posts it comes out that guys are just being superficial and shallow the size of a woman's breasts don't reflect anything.. But in a post about the size of a penis there are woman that think that it is okay to be turned off and THAT kind of shallowness is okay..

 

Just a funny twist in the mind of women .. I have found this post interesting that it doesn't parallel a woman's view dealing with her own body.

My last relationship was the best sex I've ever had!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And he said the same. The relationship didn't end well but my GOD it was so good when I think about it I miss him so much.

 

He joked about his size before we met....IE when the topic of condoms came up, he asked if they come in petite. He also made some comments about not being no porn star! Well when we finally met and had sex, I was a bit surprised at how small he actually was (but it was soooo cute)!!!!

I'm tracking you here, especially in the post above which referred to the OP's honesty as "refreshing."

 

I think the women here who aren't guilty about the fact that size matters to them are in the right, and it's unlikely that those are the same posters who take offense or cry "shallow" when a man posts about the importance of breast size.

 

However, this may just be a justication for my own behavior. I've stopped seeing women because I didn't think their bodies where attractive unclothed, even though they seemed to have nice bodies before we got to it.

On 'superficiality' ... for the record, I have no problem with men preferring some characteristic or another. If I've got it, that's nice, if I don't, they'll find it elsewhere.

 

I tend to hear more about men who prefer small breasts, the kind that can go braless. (Dang would that be nice!) They're not ever going to find what I've got attractive. So be it.

 

Personally, I find there's a fairly narrow range of men I find really 'WOW' attractive. (And they're quiet types who don't change the temperature of a room by walking in.) I don't appeal to the broadest range of men, myself.
