AndrewJ Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 I received a text message just before that simply read *bunt* . Any suggestions what the heck this means? It was from a girl pal.
933KJL Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 It could be a mispelling---see what other woerds can be made of the numbers 2862 and see if that makes sense. Otherwise, it is a baseball term for lightly tapping the ball and not hitting it. I have heard it used in slang to mean like when there is not other really good option to bunt.
Author AndrewJ Posted August 7, 2005 Author Posted August 7, 2005 not into basket ball so can rule that out. Another case of women playing with my poor brain again
loony Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 http://www.urbandictionary.com You can find a lot of explanations for slang there. "bunt" has a couple of different meanings, also with sexual undertones.
Author AndrewJ Posted August 7, 2005 Author Posted August 7, 2005 holy smackers loony i could have bunt coming
seahorse Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 Well, if she was using predictive text and didn't check she'd got the word she wanted, it could just have been a very nasty insult. Look at what other letters are on the key that gives you b.
HokeyReligions Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 EW! This was in that urban dictionery you linked. EW! EW! EW! I can't believe this is ever done enough to have a term for it! EW! Bunt A form of necrophelia, but a mouth is placed over an orifice on a dead body, and someone jumps on the bodies stomach, filling the mouth with welll you can guess I'll bet she mis-typed a word or was starting to send something to someone else and accidently sent you an incomplete text message. Why not ask her?
