I ended things with a girl almost a month ago. Things were too messy with her and her ex-bf and I didn't want to be a part of the relationship. I have been completely NC. Below is her most recent e-mail to me.

"Does your mind still remain unchanged….?

It’s nearly been a month since we broke up and I still think a lot about you and our time together. You really meant a lot to me and I know our issues are not straight-forward but I just wonder if there is anything I can say to change your mind..?

I guess we hung out a lot in Wimbledon so everywhere I go, I am reminded of you and how happy I was being with you… I miss you and you did really mean a lot to me…there are so many things I want to share with you every day except I realise I cant.. I really wish there was a way to convince you so that we could get past our problems… is there really no way of giving us another chance? Is it too late?"

It sounds like she's having a tougher time letting go. I want her to move on and find someone that makes her happy.

How would you guys reply to this in a nice way?

Thanks.

This otherwise don't respond at all. That should send a message as well.

That's tough, but the simpler the better. You can't be her supporter during the breakup, so it's better to just be straight to the point but kind about it. Anything else just drags it out and might give her false hope.

I only wish the best for you,I want you to be with the man who will love you like you should be loved.

I am not the best man for you I cannot feel for you like you feel for me and you deserve that man who feels strongly for you.

you might not think so now...but you will find that man by us parting company sooner rather than later....i wish you all the best.....always.....(your name here).....

I don't like those choice of words. Sounds a bit condescending, nothing worse as a dumpee when the dumper starts projecting, as if they know your mind and what makes you happy.

As a dumper, you should only state your position and how you feel. Projecting towards the dumpee is a cop out and will not come off as intended.

@lericenciel ~ Don't reply, she will analyse it to death and just drag it out by sending more emails.
