Off Topic But I want to Cut Hair.. Afraid of what Bf will think

Ok this is a bit off topic I just didnt know where to post. Ill be quite blunt, Ive been wanting to get a haircut for some time now (short but not short short... like faith hills old style, lisa rinna, princess diana style...) Well my hair is really really long full and dark like chest length and i KNOW that my boyfriend loves me beyond a shadow of a doubt. Hes proven it tried and true, But the thing is I KNOW deep inside he loves my long hair because he is young and from my experience younger guys like long hair on women and more older matured men have gfs and wifes with short hair. The thing is he goes 'Well its your hair babe, its just hair and ill find u sexy anyway you are".

 

and then last night my best girl goes "dont cut your hair off you will look ugly. Dont do it" I told her what my bf said. And then shes all "He is just saying that not to hurt your feelings".

 

So she fills my head with doubt... and adds to the fact he has posters of this model with long hair on his walls. Well hes told me hes willing to take down coz he doesnt even look at them anymore supposedly because hes only interested in me. I was fine all the time until my girlfriend filled my head with insecurity but I really want to cut my hair because its hot this summer and I feel that i want a nice back to school change. But Im scared that if i DO my bf wont find me the same way anymore, I dont know if im being insecure but Ive been like this in probably all of my relationships.

I used to have that shortish style, I used lots of product to give it a real messed, kinda bed-head look.

But anyways, yeah guys always SAY they prefer long hair on chicks.

 

Thing is : a shorter cut can really accentuate your facial features, and make you look sooooooo cute.

I think it was unfair of your friend to be so nasty saying you will look ugly.

 

If your boyfriend loves you, he will love your hairstyle to like he says.
