Logo Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 Ran into 2 women but was only interested in one. One of them wanted to move on, but the one I was talking to was interested in the conversation with me. What would you do in that situation? They excused themselves, so I walked over to the one I liked and asked her if she'd like to go out with me sometimes. She started with excuses, so I wished her well and walked away.
basil67 Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 Being interested in a conversation with you doesn't translate to wanting to date you. So there's nothing you could have done differently. Better luck next time. 2
CptInsano Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 In this case she probably wasn't interested, period. Generally speaking, going out with a group of guys, or just a good friend who is able to hold a conversation, is indeed preferable. Otherwise you end up with situations where you exclude her friend(s), which is less than ideal. I played the role of the friendly conversationalist for my single friends many times, even when I wasn't single myself.
PegNosePete Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 I walked over to the one I liked and asked her if she'd like to go out with me sometimes. This is exactly the right thing to do. She wasn't interested so you move on.
