I have a cute coworker who I get along with really well. We get along so well that people like to joke or imply that we should get together. We also have the same last name so it only adds to the joke. She's a nice girl and was a relationship until recently. They are currently on a break. I can't read if she's interested or attracted to me on some level. She mentions her boyfriend a lot to me which is generally a sign that she's not interested.

I feel like she's pretty comfortable with me. One thing I noticed is that she would ask other people to join us on lunch when she was in a relationship. Now that she's no longer in one, she's more comfortable going to lunch with me one on one. We've also made plans to go hiking and even had dinner after work once. We've also hung out outside of work with other people so I guess you could say we are friends.

However, recently she's been playfully giving me a hard time. She calls me "grandpa" because she says I act older than my age. She has also called me boring. She's also comfortable calling me out on the dumb things that I do. I've noticed that she doesn't do this with other male coworkers or mutual friends. She also calls me "mister" a lot as in "you better mister", etc. She also touches me more than with other coworkers. Is this a sign of flirting? Or does she see me as a friend?

^ That, exactly. Asking a woman on a date is not a marriage proposal. There's no need to wait until you're sure she'll say yes. Take her on a real date and act like a date, not a buddy.

But ONLY do that if you are ready to deal with the consequences when she either says no or goes out for awhile and then breaks up and you're working with her. It can be very uncomfortable.
