alphamale Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 so when did weighing 225 lbs for a woman become "average"? jesus frikkin christ! I have seen some profiles on match dot com of women I know and these chicks are heffers and they describe themselves as avg.! WTF is the world coming to? an average woman is someone who may be 10 to 20 lbs overweight but not 100 lbs.

I think that a woman who is around 140-150 lbs should put average on her profile.. Not curvy.. It is really funny how the weight/age issue is expounded on the internet.. People just need to tell the truth.. I always have.. The guys I date are usually 170-210 and 5'8-6'. Fly...150 lbs? So would that be "slender build" or do you have to be over 6ft to use that one? I would prefer not to date a guy with a smaller butt than me too. I don't have a pic on my profile (small town) but I will send one to anyone who asks (almost anyone). I have finally learned not to respond if I don't like their pic after they send it. I used to feel so bad, but it was hard to get rid of these guys after a while. And ignoring them IMO is better than saying "sorry, after I saw your pic I decided you're not what I'm looking for" even though ignoring them kinda says the same thing. People will lie even if it asks for weight and height. I find that most guys will add a couple inches to their height. I only add a 1/2 inch. I used to put my measurements way back when, but that was when I really was 36-26-36 (give or take an inch or two here or there).

Even Six Flags has height and weight requirements to be able to ride various rides....I see nothing wrong with imposing your own criteria to ride your ride!

I'm 5'9 150lbs.. I also date women of child bearing age.. ( hear comes the chavonistic remarks ) someone 175 lbs after a couple of kids will MOST LIKELY weigh in around 200.. That is not curvy .. Sorry

jen_jen_heartbroken Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Well, everyone has their preferences. I won't date a guy under 6', and of course I'm in total heaven with my new guy who stands at 6'5". My neck hurts, but I love it!
TUDOR Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 so what is more of a turn off, being too short or too over weight?
MWC_LifeBeginsAt40 Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Don't forget to check out their mother, Fly. Cuz that's who she will be in 25 yrs!!! Alot of it depends on what type of relationship you are looking for too. I think there are too many options in most dating sites. You can check all of them....sex, conversation, friendship, etc etc but it should be more basic....such as SEX or SPOUSE or BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND or CHEATIN' SPOUSE and that's it. Let everything else determine whether or not they have something in common.

I'm 5'9, 160 and not often described as "slender." Here <= I wonder if men vary more greatly in weight distribution than women do. NFL guys who are 5'9 are 185-195, and ripped. Runners who are 5'9 are 135, and very thin, but muscular. Inactive guys with either proportion will look like ass. I think this is less possible for women.

I just look at her ankles Just to clear up where I stand a Little.. My ex wife was around 150 when we got married and about 180 when we divorced.. and I didn't even notice that she was heavy until years later when we started talking again.. I just am thinking of MY future ... wow.. what a touchy subject.. like throwing raw meat into a lion cage
MWC_LifeBeginsAt40 Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Height and Weight should be viewed with alot less weight (no pun intended) than the person's lifestyle. Like that ripped NFL'er could be on drugs (gasp!) The 5'10 guy who is hovering 200 could be very careful about what he is eating, and is active and exercises regularly to try and keep under the 200 mark. And he may even have a personality!!!

TUDOR Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Even pictures can be deceiving though as to one's weight. I tend to carry my weight in my face and a head shot would more than likely produce an opinion that I might be on the heavier side. I am 6'2" and 185'lbs which is right at my ideal weight but I think I look fat in the face.

I mean you have a broad face that would lend one to think you have a muscular body to go with it. And I would have thought that even if you didn't put your height/weight in the post.

jen_jen_heartbroken Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 The first thing I notice about a face is the smile, and then eyes. A great smile is so important. Dimples are nice too.
TUDOR Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 [email protected] had any one say muscular when talking about my face but I will accept your conclusion with a smile! Jen-Jen yes I still get carded at 29 but I hope to have this baby face for years to come! No gray's here....must be the lighting! Looney...thanks! Ok...I was trying to make a point and not fishing for compliments but thanks for the kind words!
jen_jen_heartbroken Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Tudor, enjoy your baby face. You'll be so glad you have it when you're 60 but can still catch the eyes of the younger ladies.

loony Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 "Muscular face"? - Iiihhhh.... Um, by the way, someone is showing a picture with muscles.
