For awhile i been having thoughts of my wife with another man. This has been turning me on. How would i go about having this happen. I just cant come out and ask her to do it. But how would i set a sitituion up where it could happen, and how would i let her know it would be ok with me, in fact a turn on

Beware that having a fantasy about things like that, is completely different from making the fantasy come true. Often what you think of as a turn on, creates all kinds of problems. Not even necessarily in your wife, but perhaps in you. You think of it now as a turn on, but that does not mean, that you will actually experience it as a turn on.

 

Furthermore, your wife may absolutely not be open to this, and there is only one way to find out. But if you would ask her, and she is not open to it, you will have seriously damaged the image your wife has of you.

 

If you don't have an open marriage, or a marriage which allows for swinging (and by the sounds of it, you don't have), it is best to let the fantasies remain what they are. Just fantasies.

Dr Drew used to be on the radio in Atlanta all the time and he would have about 2 callers every night that would call in with that fantasy..

 

And the advice d'Arthez just gave is about the same advice I alway's heard on the radio.

 

Other than Dr Drew would use the word Always instead of Often

I would question your true motives or perhaps seek help about this issue. Do you want ot have intercourse with other men/women? Anyway, since you won't seek a therapist, then find someone you both are comfortable with.
