happynomad Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 (edited) Hey Hope this is in the right place. Right so I left my job today via text today. The reason being I can't face the fall out from handing in my notice. I'll be leaving the country for a while anyways. The job become too much to handle mainly due to my bosses daughter wanting to be in an relationship with me when i explicitly said I don't want anything to do with her. Her trying to claim ownership on me. Many other psychological games. A month ago a new girl started at work. We got along really well. She laughed at all my terrible jokes, smiled a lot and talked sense etc etc. As you can imagine my bosses daughter was not very happy with this and sent several texts and made lots comments warning me what i was doing was wrong. This was the final straw I knew I had to go anyways before I left I was meant to tell the new girl that i was leaving and that we should keep in touch by giving her my number. But I never got the chance to tell her. Our shifts didn't match. She is only in the job till august before leaving to go someplace else well another country My options now are limited: 1. Just forget about her and move on with my life 2. add her on Skype and message her. But risk her telling my now ex employer that I contacted her. Should I even care if she does. I'll be hated anyways because of the way I'm leaving. 3. ???????? THANKS  Edited June 20, 2017 by happynomad
MsJayne Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 You really like the girl, maybe she really likes you. Send her a Skype invite and find out. Never mind what the ex-employer thinks of you - they have a creepy daughter who scares their employees away by text-stalking them.
Lazy Fox Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 Message her!! It's an opportunity that could lead to who knows what. I met my partner on a year and a half on Omeagle lol. Anything is possible
Whodatdog Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 So you've already left your job, and you want to contact a girl that you like but are worried that the ex-boss's daughter might find out? And you care about that why again?
Gaeta Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 Right so I left my job today via text today. ... Seriously? You quit your job by text! No don't bother. I would not want to hear (or date) a guy that quits his job by text.
Lazy Fox Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 ... Seriously? You quit your job by text! No don't bother. I would not want to hear (or date) a guy that quits his job by text. And I would not want to hear (or date) a girl as judgemental as you. He obviously wasn't enjoying the job so he quit, how he quit isn't relevant and he wasn't asking for feedback on his exit strategies.
