swordsmen121 Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 I started a new job not too long ago and became really good at what I do in a short period of time. My job is in social services and I'm one of the few guys there. I'm assuming these women aren't used to having a guy who is above average in looks, personality let alone riding a motorcycle sometimes to work. This group of new hires were introduced in my department. I pretty much introduced myself to them out at my own accord and told them that I might know a little bit more since I started before them. There's this cute girl in that new group. I sensed that she might like me because I ride a motorcycle and she used to as well before she sold it off (she was scared). She's also initiated conversations about my motorcycle and asked me how I can ride through traffic and stuff. I also did find out that she does have a boyfriend. I also noticed that she tries really hard not to look at me when I'm around and I catch her looking at me from far away sometimes. Like I've noticed today that I was talking to someone today and I was the first person she looked at and suddenly looked away the next second as she first walked into the office. Like the manner in which she looked away felt a little unusual. Lately she has been coming up to me lately saying things like: "Ive been eyeing your new motorcycle helmet from a distance and its really nice" She's approached my desk a few times asking for meaningless questions and is usually happy and smiling when asking She has once asked me to go to her church. I changed the subject.(This was on a monday) She asked me again on friday and I said I can't I'm busy this weekend. Maybe next. My colleagues suspect that she likes me from the way she talks and behaves around me without me telling them all the details that I have mentioned here. She also said "Bye (insert name)!" loud out in the office in front of everyone before she left work. She also said that she was in a long distance relationship and decided to move to the city to live closer to her boyfriend. But she also said that she will move back home if things don't work between her and her boyfriend. Soon I will be able to work from home. She came up to me saying that she wishes I was around and doesn't like that I will be leaving the office and not being able to see her regularly. What's pissing me off is shes giving me all these signals...even asking me to go to church twice all when she has a boyfriend. Why would she even ask me to go to church? I'd appreciate any input on my situation.
