I had the plan to move out of my parents house and rent a place with my friend, but due to issues with work, I'm broke and can't afford to move out. I already delayed the date from June to July, but now I'm dreading it as I can't move out. I don't want to lose a friend over this, he's so excited and happy and even looking for places right now, sending me pics. I just don't know what to say to him. Anyone help?

No point in asking your parents for a loan for the first month rent because that won't help you when the 2nd month rolls around.

 

You have to tell your friend right away. What if he finds a place and puts a deposit down because he is under the impression that you are going to move in with him? You can't let that happen. Tell him right this second.
