Fresnite Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Hello, Im Just curious, if you have a friend or a significant other and you really just only know them, like none of their friends or whatever. What do you do if something bad happens to them? Like if they got in a car accident and died or for whatever reason had to go to the emergency room. How would you know or find out? Like None of their friends have your contact info nor does the parents if talking about an SO, How would you ever know? I mean if they stop texting or calling or posting or snapping or whatever its obvious something is wrong.... but like what if it's bad? Like You can call their phone and it rings normally, it means its not turned off or destroyed right? Would the medical people answer the phone or give it to someone? It Just makes me think of loss and loneliness and separation if there is no way of knowing something. I don't think you can call the hospital and ask because of HIPPA or whatever it is.

mikeylo Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 That's a scary thought but if they are your SO then you should have met at least one relative or friend and have their contact details. You should have your SO street address, the neighbors usually know if something has happened.
preraph Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 It would end up on Facebook with one of the family members. If you know someone and don't know their family at all, time to start getting the contact info. I feel how can you be that close with someone and not know anyone else who knows them...
