Zxcvbnm123 Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 As the title says...so what do you guys think of this. Been hanging out with this girl for a little while now and my number one concern is her wanting kids pretty soon since time is really ticking down for her in terms of having kids and for me at 24, I'd like to wait another 8-10 years. And she's an amazing woman and will do just about anything for me. Gorgeous in the face, works out a ton, no drugs or alcohol, very nice body, sex is amazing, very nice and thoughtful, has spent so much money on me, she makes great money, very close with her family, massages my hands, feet, back whenever I'd like, makes me breakfast and dinner, if she's out st the store and sees something she knows I'll like, she'll get it for me, and does the same for coworkers, her friends, family, just a very thoughtful person, great personality - very fun, outgoing, always smiling and happy, always a lot of fun with her. Never had a girl treat me this well and really seems like a great well rounded person. But it'd be so tough for us to have to go our separate ways because of one of us wanting kids soon and one of us not, even tho we like each other so much. So anyone have examples of this successfully working out, experiences, etc.
preraph Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 If she is wanting to have kids right away and you are not, it isn't a match. And you should be sure you use your own birth control every single time so she doesn't get pregnant. She just wants to have kids soon but she's not of an age where she has to have kids this soon, so I think her priority is kids and not you.

She might not want them at all, I don't know. But I'm just saying, if she wants kids, she has to have them soon. Once a woman hits a certain age the chances of the child having complications goes up by a lot .
smackie9 Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 She can have more kids up to into her early 40's. The important thing is you need to have a discussion about yours and her expectations. Maybe you are just temporary to her, who knows right? What I'm wondering is, what do you two have in common? A relationship won't last for the long haul if all you are going by is looks and having your meals cooked. 1

So this woman has not even brought up the topic of children yet just because she is soon to turn that 'certain age' your thinking shes going suddenly going start bothering you? Also women are having children up to their 40s now so yes lets wipe out her fertility at the age of 30. "But I'm just saying, if she wants kids, she has to have them soon. Once a woman hits a certain age the chances of the child having complications goes up by a lot" Eurgh...what does she see in you? surely cannot be for your intellect? 1

We are both very very into working out. Big big part of both of our lives. Other small common interest as well. And no, prob not temporary. She's already asked me to be in a relationship and I said I'd like to wait a bit longer and see how things go
Tribble Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 I never said she's wanting kids. Haven't talked about it. She might not want them at all, I don't know. But I'm just saying, if she wants kids, she has to have them soon. Once a woman hits a certain age the chances of the child having complications goes up by a lot . Wow. Just wow. I'm 28, soon to be 29 and end things if I knew you thought like that. You seem to like this woman because she looks after you. Buys you things, gives you massages etc. The age difference is nothing. My last bf was 4.5 years younger than me. He was the one who wanted kids quickly. You could date a woman your age who wanted kids and wasn't interested in waiting nearly a decade. You don't even know her thoughts on kids. Figuring that out should be your top priority in any relationship, regardless of age. It will do you no favours to assume something like this because the girl is a couple of years older than you. 3

What does he do for her ? No dumb ****. I can pay for my stuff just fine, she just goes and buys stuff for me , small things, without me knowing. Just to surprise me with something I like. I'm just giving examples of how kind she is and how great of a person she is and just how well she treats me. It's hard to find good people these days
smackie9 Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 See where it goes why? You are just not catching feelings? Sounds to me it may look good on paper but there's no real spark.
mikeylo Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 You are assuming she might want kids soon. What if she has chosen to not have kids ever ( many dont want kids ) and you are the one who wants after 10 years?

The #1 problem is you shouldn't worry about those kinds of things with a woman you've started seeing only recently. Just be honest about your views, and let her decide if your perspective is a dealbreaker for her. The #2 problem is that you shouldn't even consider having babies with people that you "like so much", especially at your age. Babies and time have a way of making that change. Why not try just dating this woman and having fun? Don't let her rush you into anything.

It sounds like your confused because she buys you stuff And I hope she wakes up soon and realizes what a clown you really are
preraph Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Well, if she hasn't told you she wants kids soon, then all you have to do is tell her you won't be ready for 8-10 years and see if you're on the same page.
Chardonnay Renée Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Your number one concern is her wanting kids pretty soon, yet you don't even know if she wants kids at all? The solution to your problem is to first broach the topic with her. Don't do so formally; just in casual discussion to guage where she's at. You say that you won't be ready for kids for another eight to ten years? She may be the same. Perhaps the issue of fertility in her late thirties is your concern which she doesn't share? I am thirty-four with twin eleven-month old boys. I may be more fertile than many, but I'm certainly not out of the ordinary when I say that I fell pregnant within the first three months of forgoing birth control. I feel you have jumped the gun with this thread. You've made many assumptions here. Find out more from her, where she stands with things and go from there. What will be will be, but you mut first seek to know before you can proceed. Good luck!
