Soaps Posted May 27, 2017 Posted May 27, 2017 (edited) I'm wondering about body language. There's a man, much older than me, whom I kind of click with at my job. We always find some excuse to talk and tease eachother - him more so than me. He's good at talking, talks a lot, he is friendly with everyone. Meaning I can't tell if he treats me any different to others. I am introvert, and use my body a lot when I talk, like gesturing with my hands and using strong facial expressions, and always waving when I say hello or goodbye. The last time I walked up to him he turned around to me and waved at me. I was standing quite close, and he did a really big arm-waving movement, without saying hi. He had just gotten off the phone. It almost felt a little ... teasing ... but odd. Like I was both blind and unable to talk, standing so close. We stood in silence looking at eachother. Maybe I answered my own question? Exaggerating my normal body language or mocking me? Edited May 27, 2017 by a LoveShack.org Moderator paragraphs ~T
CC12 Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 No one here saw it or experienced it, so I don't think anyone here can explain his body language to you. I will say this, though. If you like him and want to date him (assuming that it wouldn't create any problems with either of your jobs) then just ask him if he wants to get coffee or something after work. If the coffee "date" goes well, then ask if he wants to go get dinner. His response will tell you a lot.
mikeylo Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Over analyzing. Try to keep a distance as situations like this can make a turn around very quickly at the work.
