Hi All,

I am currently around 8 months post break up and 6.5 months no contact with my ex. You will see background to the break up on previous threads but on reflection I know the break up was for the best.

That said, these last few weeks I have found myself thinking about her lots.

I have met a few women since the break up but nothing has developed to anything further. With work and alot of my friends being settled down, the opportunity to meet new people is limited. I have no urge to do anything stupid like reach out to her but guess the thought of not finding anyone new that I like is getting me down abit. I am keeping myself healthy and eating well and going to the gym but outside of that and work when I have downtime I find my mind wondering as to why it didn't work out and I wasn't deemed good enough.

Any advice on how to stop this?

Hey dude im exactly the same time frames as u worst I have to work wth her not my doing her she's evil and she's seeing a fat ugly coworker anyway that despite the point here

U probably feel better after reading my story lol I wish I was in ur shoes.

From my experience soulmates come around once every cpl of yrs 3 yrs or so to be exact. Not much u can do and that's perfectly natural that ur mind wonders to her.

Just ride it out and let the memories come and go and it'll pass the answer here is unfortunately just time.
