What are some reasons for a guy to stare at a girl other than finding her attractive?

I know for a fact this guy does not find me attractive, yet he persistently stares at me everytime (everyday) I walk by. I do not have any physical mutations, am not stunningly beautiful or particularly ugly, do not smell and do not dress in a bizzare fashion, so what is his deal?

Maybe he's one of those jerks who likes to try to intimidate women and thinks it's funny if he can make them blush or drop their eyes to the ground. It's rude to just stare like that, no matter why they're doing it.

But in answer to your question, perhaps there's something about you he finds interesting or intriguing.

Once I could not stop staring at someone in the metro because he looked so much like one of my brothers it was mind blowing.

Once, I saw a woman with a Latin phrase on her shirt. It had been over a decade since I took Latin, so I was staring at the phrase for a while as I translated in my head. If she saw me, she probably assumed I was staring at her rack.

There are a variety of reasons...Although its more of a "double take" than a stare...

 

I saw a woman the other day that had size 2/4 clothes on and she was easily a 16/18.....and the colors were very bright, no less...

 

I sometimes catch myself staring at women who have enormous feet and think its the most hideous sight in the world...

 

Do you have some distinguishing features?

 

Otherwise, yeah it could be as peraph said....some guys will do it to eff with a woman..

There's a woman at the gym who's profile is just like my sister's. I went up and told her this so that she (hopefully) wouldn't think I was weird for looking at her.

I never knew this was a thing, until I came on this site, and regularly see posts like this about a girl questioning why a guy keeps staring at them but doesn't find them attractive.

 

Either you keep coming on making the same post over and over again on different accounts, or this is a common problem that no one has come up with a good answer for yet.

Maybe you look like someone he knows. There was a girl in one of my classes that looked like a younger version of my aunt that passed away from cancer a few years ago. She was an almost carbon copy of her as I remembered her when she was in her early 30s when I was a kid. It was a little creepy.

 

I think I stared at bit at her at times. She may have noticed and got a little wierded out. Needless to say, I never told her she looked like my late aunt. That would have really been a total downer conversation.
