JamesD110011 Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 So the below messages are on the day of the 2nd date (4 days ago), not heard from her since. I'm thinking maybe messaging one last time in a few days. Or should I just leave it as she doesn't seem too interested? Me: Hey, still on for tonight? 7.30pm? Her: Hey, I'm so sorry I meant to message, I've got a presentation tomorrow that got sprung on me this morning, and I need to put a PowerPoint together and practice it could we raincheck for another night? Me: Ok no worries, let me know when you are next free. Good luck with the presentation! Her: Will do, so sorry to bail! Thank you x
act00 Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 Assuming the first date went well, I would contact again, and why wait a couple days? Do it now. "Hi! How are you doing? How did your presentation go? I wanted to touch base and take you up on that raincheck. :)" If she doesn't respond, call it quits. If she schedules and cancels a second time, call it quits. I just think that if this woman is of interest to you and you hit it off, it's worth a few seconds to shoot a text. 3
d0nnivain Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 She cancelled & offered an open ended raincheck. Ball is in her court to reschedule. You can try again but if she was interested she would have at least told you if the last minute presentation went well. 1
peterso2 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 A similar situation just happened to me, its a sign they aren't interested I believe
rushed Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 I cancelled on a first date once because I was feeling lazy and on the fence about the guy. But the guy was super gracious about it (I gave him an excuse about no babysitter). He was totally nice and understanding about. So nice that when he texted me again later to reschedule I agreed to go out with him. Text her again.

Another thing is that she said sorry I bailed out on you. She really means listen I am not interested in you go away.. Red flags here are Hey I'm sorry I meant to message you? What she did was to make up two excuses to make you go away. Live her and find someone else. She clearly not making the enough to go out with you. Why do you keep pushing..

Author JamesD110011 Posted May 15, 2017 Author Posted May 15, 2017 Thanks for the comments. I think I will just leave it, like others have said I don't think she is that interested and the ball is in her court anyway. 1
