Do any of you think your MM's wife is jealous or envious or trying to be you??

Well I think my ex MM's wife is, she went and bought a car just like mine. Why?? it makes me think she is envious because she used to drive this clunker and then he got back with her, he made her get a job since she never worked before and after a few months she went and bought a car like mine. It's wierd to me, I would never buy a car just like my husbands lover. He probably didnt mind it because he liked my car but why would she put her self down like that. Out of all the 100's of cars she could of chose she chose one like mine and not even as good its a lower model. She is some frumpy girl who never fixes herself up and now she is trying to dress better and so maybe by buying the car she is trying to make herself feel better...

 

BTW I always see the wife and ex MM because we have a baby together so when we exchange him I have to see them.

Could be that since she has a job and feels a sense on independence may be the reason she bought the car and is dressing better. She may have gotten a great deal on it with all the specials they have on cars now. Who knows maybe she bought it to make you crazy.

I am not the OW but the BS. I have no clue why she bought the same car you have. Maybe there is a hint of jealousy there and she thinks if she has something like yours she will think her H will be more attracted to her? He!!, I don't know. Just seems really odd she would buy a car like yours. Is it the same color?

 

I was jealous of my H exOW only b/c she had what it took to make my H stray but there is no way in he!! I would want to be like her.

 

H's exOW bought a sports car shortly b4 their A. I drove a mini van b/c of my business. As soon as I closed my business I went and bought a sports car myself. I had a sporty car b4 I even met H and I really wanted to have another one. So less than a year after he broke it off w/ the exOW I bought a sports car. My car is newer, and much nicer than the exOW, or so I think so and even H said my car was a lot nicer than the exOW's. I never bought the sports car b/c she had one. I knew once I got out of the business I would get another sports car.

sometimes i used to think my mm thought i was his wife when she was younger.

it could be that mm choose women who remind them of the wife they actually fell in love with at the beginning.

he used to say wierd things to me when he was drunk like "are the kids asleep?" ha ha, how strange.

perhaps his wife used to be alot like you and is trying to rediscover herself. i have to say though, if it was me, i WOULDNT buy the car even if it was my sort of thing, knowing that the ow had the same model.

Is this woman nuts? Her husband cheats on her & has a baby with the OW & she still stays with him???????? HOW THE HECK CAN SHE DO THAT?

Marie1973 I wonder the same things I could never do it! SHe is young though, she used to beg him back even knowing I was pregnant I think in a few years she will finally smell the coffee brewing. He apparantly is a jerk, treated her like crap but from what I know it was vice versa so they deserve one another. But yes I see their mugs here and there when he visits with the baby and now seeing her with a car like mine is bugging me, It's like YOUR NOT ME GIRL STOP TRYING TO BE

But, just like the gullible wife being criticized in this situation, you both DID do it. As a matter of fact, you both hooked up and became emotionally obsessed with married men who you knew were cheaters right from the start. While the wife may have discovered her husband's true colors "after the fact" and came to the conclusion her marriage was worth working on…the OW in this situation knew that jerk was a liar and a cheat right out of the gate and decided to ride that sour pony anyway…and would STILL be holding on for dear life if she hadn't finally got bucked off.

And all of this hostility because someone bought a car just like yours? How about the thousands of other female drivers who own a make and model like yours? I think the wives may have a similar grievance. They could just as easily say "you were trying to be like them" when you latched onto their husbands hoping you could one day take over their marital roles.

No, it sounds more like misplaced anger and immature female rivalry on the part of the woman most burned by the consequences of her bad ride. A silly cat fight over jerks who aren't even worth the time and energy you are still investing in them.
