Well, those rules are pre-birth control, and at least one of them is Victorian, from the late 1800s. Birth control in the 60s changed everything. Those rules were practical in a time when there was nothing to prevent pregnancy. They were designed to keep women from being "taken advantage of" and ending up pregnant and having to marry the father whether he was appropriate or not, because how else was she going to support herself and the baby.

 

Birth control was everything for women. It was freedom on so many levels and presented options women had never had before, in life and in love.

I've broken every one of these in my current relationship alone. Well, if you go by my height when I'm wearing boots anyway.. :laugh:
