Does she not like me or am I overthinking?

Hi, I went up to the girl I like today and I was planning on saying "hi how are you whats your name.. etc", but I said something else. I was walking from my other class and found her in the class I was walking to (lets call it class a,which is my english class). Eventually both of us walk out, and after 5 min I go up to her. For whatever reason I didn't introduce myself and just said "hey do you have (class a)?"

she said "yeah"

 

I said "do you know what to do for the final"

she said "idk really"

 

This seems like uninterest to me because she did not reply thorougly and would have said more even if she didn't know what to do for the final (essay)

 

am i overthinking? should i give up? thanks

 

UPDATE: should I message her on instagram and say I'm sorry for asking about that today then get to know her

Don't apologize, you didn't do anything wrong. It will make you look weak and insecure, basically ruining any possible chance you might have with her. Just talk to her again the next time you see her. Ask if she wants to grab a coffee or something after class

So did I mess up on what I did is she not interested? and I cant because im in freshman in highschool

Ah I didn't realize you were that young. No you didn't mess up, but there hasn't been enough contact to determine if she's interested or not. Try talking to her some more, and go from there. See if she opens up a bit

i wouldnt give up you havnt had much of interaction with her she could probably thought u were just asking about school stuff since that was your only questions .
