Grey40 Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 (edited) Kind of an odd thing that I'm wondering if anyone has some insight on. This has happened a few times with a couple different girls. Meet, get their number etc. chat a bit, both agree that we should meet up at some point. I'll fall out of contact with them for like 2-3 days. The girl then texts me asking me how my week is going and if I'm good etc etc. I respond and ask them how they're doing and they don't respond. For instance this morning a girl texted me at 8am asking me how my week is going and everything. I answered her around 11am saying my week was great blah blah and asking her how her week is going, small talk. Would've responded sooner but was sleeping. It's like 10PM now and she still never answers me back. My point is...is there any reason why a girl tries to start a conversation with you and then just dissapears? Can't figure out..I get being ignored if I initiate but not if she's initiating and then ignoring. Edited May 4, 2017 by Grey40
preraph Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 I'm sure they're giving you a chance to ask them out, and then when you don't, they move on.
Popsicle Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 This is a no-brainer. You need to ask them out. Chatting gets old real fast, unless chatting is your hobby.
GemmaUK Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Maybe they are mirroring your behaviour when you fall out of contact. 1
act00 Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Maybe she's just touching base. Why is it that you haven't gone out with any of these women? You text a bit, never arrange a date, then drop off for 2-3 days. They touch base - where'd this guy go? Why not text her and ask if she's free on the weekend and if she would like to meet? Not free on the weekend? Okay, what about a week day? Really, I don't know what you expect when you drop off the planet for days when everything seemed to be going well. Some girls might just like to text but not get around to actual meeting for whatever reason. You'll figure that out when you actually try to meet her.
