Hello all,

I met her on online and we have been on 4 dates. We have seen each other for the past month and a half. She has never initiated contact but she will talk to me once I do ask her. I only contact to set up dates. She has had to reschedule a few dates or said she has been busy with excuses like "I'm sorry... Blah blah". The forth date led to sex and she said she had a great time and kissed me goodbye. During the date she said she was interested in me and talked briefly about relationships. When we are together we are good... Cuddling, kissing, laughing, etc.

The past two weeks she has been sketchy and coming up with excuses. She finally agreed to a date scheduled for today. I texted her yesterday verifying the time I am to pick her up. There was no response. Called her this morning before the date and there was no pickup.

Should I ask her for an honest answer on what's going on and whether she is still interested.

You could ring her and ask for an explanation. Or...you could just forget about her and let her contact you.

You're going to get a ton of responses here about how she's a player and all and she may very well be but I can assure you this: if I were you, I would handle it by asking her directly and letting her know that no further dates are in the works until I'm satisfied with her reason for "flaking". Either lead or follow, your choice.

She probably lost interest at some point, but I think she agreed to another date in a moment of weakness because you kept on trying. (Or she changed her mind again)

Just forget about her. Who cares why she flaked. Why would you want to be with someone who treats you like that? You deserve better

She just lost interest for whatever reason.

Just leave her be and move on.
