Hey,

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right section, but I'll give it a shot.

In 2 days there will be exactly 6 months since my gf dumped me. I have been in alot of pain, thinking about her 24/7, wasted LOADS of energy on her.

We have been NC for about 5 months, and there is no denying it has helped me ALOT.

Last Sunday i was driving home from a trip and suddenly I catched myself not thinking about her, and I began to think of the last time I was, and it was several days ago. I now finally think I have reached acceptence and are not looking back anymore, wich feels soooooooooooo good!

Now for my question:

After I realized this I have been feeling sooo tired! Always sleepy, yawning 24/7. When I get home from work usually around 5 PM, I sleep til 10 PM, eat something then go back to bed til 6 AM. I over all feel like I have less energy. I could prob sleep all day! For real.

Has anyone felt something similar?

Could this be some kind of "landing phase" after wasting so much energy on the breakup? After all my head has been filled with this for the last 6 months and have been using 70% of my energy (if not even more) on this.

Would appriceate any thoughts on this!

Thanks!

Best to go to doc and get a blood test. Could be anaemia or some vitamin deficiency. Could be depression too or chronic fatigue syndrome. I think it's best to start with the docs - get the longest appointment you can so you can talk about the break-up. Puts it all into context for doc. Good luck!

Seconding all of Spiderow's suggestions and adding one: If you're in the US, it's Spring. So could also be allergy. Hayfever leaves me reeling with exhaustion.
