Cut back on the drinks. Alcohol is high in calories. Obviously you can't control what she eats and drinks, but if you start following good habits she may follow suit.

 

I think it's sweet that you made her a bunch of healthy food.

I'm not sure if shes hacked into my posts or not but this week there is no beer in the house, food/meals are healthier, the portions are smaller and we walked both nights after dinner...

Awesome! My husband is overweight, it scares me that it'll affect his health. He drinks 2-3 energy drinks every day and I've been trying to convince him to give them up...he won't though..so frustrating. Also he does most of the cooking as he's an ex-chef, but he cooks lots of fatty stuff, I have to get to the kitchen first if I want to eat healthy, although I do have a very good excuse to not eat fatty food having no gall bladder, so I use that to my advantage in order to convince him to join me in lower fat foods.

Hope he hacks my posts here. Lol!!
