I have a crush on a receptionist. she is very friendly and nice. I sparked casual conversations here and there. one day i had to print a 60 pages documents so I asked her do you know any printing shops nearby. she offered me to print the documents and while its printing she asked me what is it for , how is it living in the US did you like it? when I pulled off my wallet to pay her she said you dont have to worry its free and I said Its free! she said yeah its free only this time with a smile on her face. as far as I know they do charge for printing. she looks me in the eye most of the times but sometimes she can't maintain eye contact. I once asked her if she knows any piano schools nearby for a 27-28 age group and that made her think why I asked for that specific age group since I look younger than my age. so the next day she asked

her: do you work?

me: no I am doing my masters why are you asking is it because i look younger than my age

her: how old are you?

me: 28

her: damn you dont look 28 you look younger

one day I wanted to test the waters so when leaving the reception area I said to her " good night bella ( beautiful in Italian)" she said same to you. I really wanted to see if she will ignore me after my compliment. she is still the same and I didn't sense any change like avoiding eye contact or any sort of alienation.

yesterday as usual I made an excuse to talk to her. I asked her for information that can be easily found in the internet. she said " dont you have computer? i was like yes I do have a computer and she said " then?" and she was friendly during the whole interaction. when leaving I asked her for her name. she said it to me. so she should feel by now that I am interested I guess.

after an hour I left my room and I forgot my key inside so I went down and asked her if she can open the room for me since I left my key inside. when going up she asked me " do you have lots of assignments these days?" I was like yeah.

1) should I refrain from asking her out or should I go for it ?

2) supposedly that before I ask her out i came to know that she has a boyfriend, how should I act totally ignore her or act normally ? and how to win her in that case ?

To find out if she has a bf is to ask her how her weekend was on Monday which if she is dating it likely comes out about her being with someone doing something. If she doesnt say anything about a bf then ask her out.

1st, you are a guy, if she is a halfway attractive woman....she knows you are interested.

Next step...ask her out for lunch. If she doesn't want to be involved with you, she'll decline. If she accepts...it is at least a step in the right direction

Ah-ha, so she's taken. Never mind, at least you know where you stand.

Just act normal :)

She has a BF. You just act normal. She's not free to date you. Do not ask her out.

Why should you act any different? Be friendly just for the fact of being a nice person?
