Had a date Friday night. She seemed a bit more stuffy than the average person, but I overlooked this fault because she looks incredible. Anyhow, took her to a nicer than average restaurant.

Ever budget conscience, I ordered the cheapest menu items to offset the bite of above average prices. She ordered an expensive steak based meal :(. She sampled her steak, then she produced a can of mace and sprayed it on her meat. In a well practiced move she quickly covered it with her napkin. It was certainly a measured little dose, but I was afraid to breath as I could smell a little "zest" in the air. She made small talk for a while.

Finally she pulled the napkin off with fling that sent any remaining vapors away from our table (and toward hapless other patrons). She then thoroughly enjoyed her meal. She is very attractive and I had intended to make a move on her (even wore my fancy underwear), but this mace bit just made me lose all interest.

I'm not a foody type person. Has anyone heard of seasoning food with mace?

Is that the only concern you have with this woman? What happen afterwards? She's not normal but everyone has there own ways about themselves. Never take them to expensive place to eat if your worried about money. That tells you she doesn't respect you in the sense of taking your money and buying steak etc. All your worried about the mace. That's her, if you live with her I guess the mace will be more active than it was intended for protection.

Uh.... Wow. Just wow. I don't even know where to go with that one. I would have been annoyed with the pepper spray in the air. I had someone spray it into a drinking fountain once and I got a dose of it in my face when I tried to get a drink. Not a good experience.

Boy I'm stumped! She sounds weird. Men stop trying to justify women's strange behavior based on their attractiveness!

Procreation: We already have enough crazy ppl out here and the divorce rate is through the roof. Use the bigger head to think.

I rather be with someone who is average looking and well balanced than to have drop dead gorgeous and crazy.

I would THINK that Mace is TOXIC (evidently not)....there

seems to be LOTS of discussions on this site about who pays,

how much stuff costs.....I never think about stuff like that

I just go have fun and don't dwell on the small stuff

back to the topic at hand, that sounds WEIRD

dazzled by the packaging, turned off by the contents, but talks himself into purchasing the package based solely on how it looks.

Some women carry hot sauce in their purse... she needs her fire turned up, apparently... she may think it boosts her metabolism to eat her food blazing with pepper spray and that's how she maintains her "incredible" looks.

It's a little bit odd to spray it on food, but not unheard of. Mace as used for defence is a pepper spray and is perfectly edible but certainly not good for the eyes like lots of other seasonings. It is, however, not much different from putting pepper or salt on your food.

If this is the worst thing she does, consider yourself lucky. Mace as a normal spice/seasoning, though, is different from pepper spray. It tastes similar to nutmeg.

She should be careful though, because Mace (defence spray) is illegal in some states . . .

A couple of thoughts come to mind: 1) She's used to subduing her prey before consuming it and 2) she's grooming you, i.e., getting you accustomed to her pulling out mace so you'll not respond quickly enough when maybe you'll need to.

If I were to continue dating her I'd sleep with one eye open..., with safety glasses...

Ground (edible) mace is absolutely different than the aerosol mace.

Attractive only goes so far. I think I'd lose her number. From what you've posted.

But you might not want to put either one on a ribeye.

I used to stand in the doorway of Subway and challenge people to "Guess My Lunch" by belching in their faces as they walked in. If they chose correctly I'd buy them a Cookie.

I didn't go so far as to Mace any food though. I have dealbreakers you know...lol

Are you sure it wasn't some other kind of seasoning spray? I hope so because I would imagine mace can't be that healthy to eat???

I have to admit that I'm occasionally superficial.

If you google it, there is an article about not confusing the spice (powder) mace with the pepper spray mace. So she is very stupid and also it's rude to bring something like that in a restaurant to spray on perfectly good food. So I think you should never see her again and maybe send her the article about mace spray isn't the same as mace spice (and steaks don't need mace spice either, fyi)

O.o

A properly done steak doesn't need any extra seasoning or sauce!!!!

I'm offended that she put ANYTHING on it.. let alone mace.

Lose her number, she's obviously nuts.

I've always felt the same, a good steak needs no extra treatments. A bad steak needs A1

I've been getting feedback that some people like certain pepper based defense sprays as a seasoning for various foods. Her container had the name "Defender" or something like that. Perhaps it was pepper based? Even so, I can't see me kissing someone just ate a spray designed to harm people.

I think it's a match made in heaven... "budget conscience" she was keeping you honest..

I guess the fact she is "burning" hot makes no difference, this is where the hot crazy matrix is applied..

If your judging based off of any decision of food, chances are your just intimidated by her looks but do not want to admit it.

Ego is a terrible thing to have my friend, do not let it get the best of you. I'm not saying throw yourself at her feet, but i'm also saying don't vilify her because of her choices, any choices.

Do you deal with a lot of anxiety and self-sabotage in your every day life?
