No doubt I'm overthinking and she fell asleep, but could it be what I said?

Going on a date Saturday evening with this girl. She text me at 11pm saying "Evening Mr. Mime. How's your Friday been? I'm getting butterflies already about tomorrow ? you better be nice haha.

I reply 15-20 mins later saying "Hey little miss cheeky, went for some drinks with a friend after work. And as long as you don't actually turn into a butterfly then we'll have no problems ;)".

She replied two minutes after that saying "Sounds good! Man talk? Haha, I'll try not to."

I reply after 15-20 minutes (I replied when I got back home) saying "Maybe! What mischief have you been up to tonight?".

That was 11:30pm so my guess is she fell asleep as she always responds. Just wanted to post this incase anyone thinks it could be my texts?

I doubt you blew it but in the future if you're out like you were, don't start a conversation via text. She replied fast to you and you didn't without it being clear you were still out.

Personally I wouldn't reply to any texts or calls after 10.00pm as it's far too late for me.

I don't think starting a text conversation that late at night is a good idea.

Why not initiate a 'phone call at a more reasonable time?

I don't like this texting business - it's a very sterile method of communication. Because you can't hear or see the other person it's wide open to misunderstandings.

Nothing wrong with your texts BTW
