I think i've lost my gf to som but she still wants to be with me, should we break up?

Some months ago I ran across some pics on fb of my gf(of 4 1/2 yrs) and another guy. Ironically, the guy she wss on the pics with posted the pics, in other words im fb friends with the guy. The nature of the pics were a little confusing, they weren't all over each other or anything like that but I could definitely tell there was some form of connection/chemistry there. I brought it up to her and simply asked "is there someone else?" and I showed her the pics that I saw. She immediately got defensive but did say that there wasn't anyone else and that there was nothing going on but also saying, "he's like my bestfriend"...okay..so I was trying to believe her but I started asking questions trying to figure out why don't I know this guy if he's "like your bestfriend"...i asked her questions like how long they've known each other? How many times have they hung out? Is there some type of void she's trying to feel? Was there something I was lacking in or not doing for her?.. She answered them but when I asked the last 2 she took it as if I wasn't trusting her or believing her. Which led to an argument. Which led to her saying that we needed to have some time apart

Well anyway when a woman tells you that you need some tie apart, it's pretty much the end of the relationship. Relationships are not fixed by time apart, they are fixed with open honest communication and time together. She has shown that she doesn't want to fix the relationship, she would rather be apart. Probably so she can be with the other guy.

 

Yes you should break up... although technically I think you already have.
