Life lessons Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 A lot of people use cute as a pure synonym for attractive. But I think for me, I consider it to be more of a possibly youthful, but really natural attractive look. The so called "girl next door" look. Flawless skin, big smile, big eyes. It may or may not be on someone who is also sexy, beautiful, etc. I see them as different things. I also view being called cute completely different than being called sexy, beautiful, etc. Cute to me is: young female with an innocent look about her. As stated previously, I also use the word cute for a young female..I'm not certain why considering I call guys cute, regardless of age! 1
Life lessons Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Well said You're exactly correct!! That's how I imagine cute.....for a female!
avvril3000 Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 i would take the word cute as meaning appealing you can also use cute for men. which i do all the time. as a woman in her early 30s, i don't mind being called cute. i like to hear beautiful as well. 1
MountainGirl111 Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 I don't think it has much to do with age at all....someone can be "cute" at any age, just as someone can be beautiful at any age or pretty at any age. Cute usually also indicates a person has a certain amount of charm/attractiveness. "That's a cute outfit." It simply means something is appealing or that we like it. 3
