jthomas89 Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Hi all, I am new here. About a month ago I went on a date with a girl and we kicked it off very well. She was very interested in meeting up again and we were texting back and forth everyday for a week. We were busy the following 3 weekends because she had exams for med school and I also had things to do. Weekends were the only time I could hang out. We agreed to meet up 4 weekends later. Our conversation died and I started texting every few days just to check up. On the week we were supposed to meet up she just went cold. I am wondering what went wrong. Is waiting 4 weeks too long after a 1st date?

And, if a month went by, I'd lose any connection I may have had to that person. 2
smackie9 Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 This is why we date...to see if your schedules are in sink, expectation are met, have lots in common, etc. You two can't even see each other....it's pointless.
WaitingForBardot Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Met a girl when I was in school and we really hit it off; managed to see each other a few times and had a great time each time. But between school and conflicting work schedules, we couldn't get the flow going we both needed to make things work. We ended things on good terms after several months of trying. Had the timing been just a little different we might still be together; it just wasn't right at that particular moment.
