Obviously most of us here are dumpees, but some of us that are dumpees have played the role of dumper before so why not ask some questions that would be fun. These are obviously all opinion based since we all know relationships are ALL DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE. 1) Does an ex Dumper need to date someone else to improve YOUR chances of reconciliation as a dumpee? Not limited to GIGS, but do dumpers need to experience someone that isn't their ex before they really start rebuilding attraction for said ex? Are the dumpers rebounds actually beneficial for the dumpee? Doesn't feel the new guy fills the voids left by the previous SO. (obviously assuming their next relationship(s) don't work out) 2) If you are a dumper, have you ever been deadset on breaking up with someone and said you'd never take them back and then come to regret it?As a dumpee, have you ever reconciled with a dumper that said it was over for good? 3) As a dumper, have you ever snooped on an ex? (aka Stalk in any way. Social media/mutual friends/ in person) 4) As a dumper, have you ever gotten to a point where you would like to see the ex and be open to reconciliation, but not exactly aim for it? For example, you run into an ex from a few months ago. Both seem to be over it and want to catch up. If there is a spark again, would you be willing to go for it or would it just be out of the question? 5) Do you believe it's true that most reconciliations happen after a large amount of time has passed? 6+ months of NC 6) If someone is using NC on you (either to move on or reconcile) how does that feel if you want them still in your life as a "Friend" 7) How long did it take you to get over your previous ex? I recently dumped a girl. 1) I don't know, wish I did. 2) Yes, right now,I dumped her and have extreme regret. 3) I've looked at her FB page, but pretty sure she blocked me, or whatever the option is that limits what you see. 4) My situation might not help you here, but I am going crazy trying to figure out how to get a second chance, so yes. 5) I really don't know. It seems to me, that its very situation dependent. 6) She might be. It sucks. Stuck between not wanting to be desperate, but wanting to show them I've changed. One of the most painful things for me is that we are not in any communication.(we had mutually agreed too, but she won't reply to me.) 7) Dated a girl for 8 years, the last two years were not very good, so that didnt take very long at all. It was a mutual decision.
