Author DMVeep Posted March 8, 2017 Author Posted March 8, 2017 Yeah, that's how I felt about my ex ex. I gave it 8 months beause sex/physical attraction was great. He was also a decent guy with almost no baggage. But our conversations never progressed deeper than small talk. I just felt like he wasn't opening up to me and even when I tried, I wasn't given back much. That was missing and kept me from falling for him. I thought in time he may open up but it never really happened. My ex on the other hand, we could talk about anything for hours on end. We never ran out of deep conversation and physical attraction was definetly there. But he was also a liar, functional alcoholic, broke, irresponsible and had truckloads of baggage from all sides. So no go either. Do you have any suggestions for fixing this? It seems more clear now that this could be the problem.

Maybe she is feeling insecure, maybe she feels like its going fast, maybe she doesn't like you, maybe she want you to drive. Look at this from a positive perspective. You like her but are not desperate.(good sign your not in love BTW). You have a minimal investment. Your in the drivers seat for yourself. Treat her how you want to treat her. Forget about what she is thinking. If you want to make a date, make a date. if you want to text her, text her. if you want to know what the hell she is thinking ask her. She will reciprocate or she wont and you will be able to evaluate if its working for you or not. If you start playing the...I shoud wait for her to initiate game, she will too and it will go to hell. Go after what you want!!! it will go or stop but one thing for sure, you wont be in the dark.
