How often do Live in relationship couples have sex?

If you are a live in relationship couple, how often do you have sex?(Times a week?)

Years ago when living with or staying over with whomever I was dating before I was married, the norm was 5-10x a week. Today having now been married for almost 18 years, the minimum has been 4-6x a week.

I honestly don't understand why people use frequency as the barometer though. I mean, obviously if the frequency is extremely low, say once or twice a month, then it could be cause for concern. But personally, I only care about frequency to the extent that it satisfies my minimum requirements. After that point, quality/intensity matters a whole lot more.

 

I mean, we technically COULD do it every day if we were okay with 5-minute quickies each time. But we're not. That would be less satisfying than having really good sessions less frequently. Plus abstaining from orgasms for a few days can make them really, really intense.

When we were younger and it had just been a couple of months since moving in, we used to have sex at least twice a day. As we grew older and the novelty of living together faded away, we started focusing on having quality sex rather than frequent sex.

There is no set time when to have sex. If both of you are welling to engage in sex then it will happen. How you feel that day or are you depressed going to make the idea of having sex will the main concern. No man should have to say to the girlfriend "hey you want to have sex tonight?" It should just happen, or she could say this "your name please come here, I need you now" From this point you get the idea when you should have it can be anytime or as much as you both want it to happen.

Depends on the relationship. I have had live in relationships where we had sex at least daily down to not very frequently at all.
