To stay or leave?

So here's my situation. I'm been with my boyfriend for two and half years. More than a year ago he cheated on me (was really drunk and made out with girls at a bar). It broke his heart to tell me and he said he would never do it again. I trusted him enough one night to go out alone again and he never even spoke a word to a girl he said (and our friend said he feels like crap for cheating on me). Then about 4 months ago I found Tinder on his phone. He didn't message any girls on it and said he just wants to see what kind of girls think he's attractive (for his self esteem he said). Then I went on a couple days ago and saw he had started talking to the girls. Nothing dirty. The worst thing I saw was he said "wow your gorgeous" to a girl but she never replied. A girl asked him for dirty pics and talk and he said no and stopped talking to her. He claimed on his account he's from Austria but he's really from Canada. So that's good right? If he wanted a hook up he'd say he was from our town. Anyway, so I comfronted him and he said he just wanted girls to talk to with something in common with him because I'm boring. I love him so much and don't wanna leave him but I feel scared to have my heart broke. We haven't talked since that night I confronted him. I'm so confused! What do I do ?

My dear, find yourself some self-respect and leave. The pain of an ending can't be worse than being treated so poorly. You have to question what love means when you're willing to tolerate someone telling you you're boring and would rather get their thrills elsewhere. Yuck. Ick. I would have been zipping out of f there.

 

And trust that when he knows you'll put up with crap like this, he's most likely going to push those boundaries and don't be surprised when he starts looking for women close by for a fix.

 

Your self-esteem is shot. The bright side to all this is that he pretended to be in another country? You've set the bar too low for yourself.
