If I determined that a lady I cared for was vacillating between myself and another man, there would be back to the future flame trails behind me. I dated a very beautiful executive from LinkedIn. One evening I was exploring the intricacies of Call of Duty, and she called and stated: Her: (Insert girl nerd executive sounding voice) "Dave, we have been dating for 14 days. I am ready for a committed relationship where we see no one but each other. I have some other options I am considering, so I need your response asap." Dave: "You really should consider those other options. Peace." Her: "waitwaitwait" Dave: "bye Felicia." You get it. I have 0, and I mean 0 tolerance for this. At 38 I seek out centered, calm, communicative women. Especially after the nightmare I just am recovering from. "I'm confused, I don't know what I want." "Should I choose this man, or this man." And best - "I'm a serial dater" Rubbish. This smacks of being bored and dating for free meals, and epitomizes the worst of our disposable/breakup culture. 2
