We broke up, because it simply wasn't working out (my mental illness was really taking over me at that point). I left to a different country, he suddenly missed me a lot, we flirted, everything, and he flew to me, for a week. That week was amazing. He even went out on dates with me, we kissed, held hands in public, we were like a couple. He went back home, got very busy and overwhelmed, but still said he has very strong feelings for me, and even said that he didn't want to be "just friends" with me, but that he feels like he has to. That was 3 days ago. Today, he suddenly got very cold, and told me he doesn't really see the future of the relationship, and so on. I decided to go NC after that, I was/am really hurt, talking to him is just a bit too much right now + it doesn't sound like he'd be into talking to me anyway. He has done this before. He gets overwhelmed (he is moving countries and starts a new career and trains a lot), and then he distances himself from me. Gets cold and pretty much makes it sound like it's all over. This time, he was straight up rude. He's never like that, he is the kindest person I know. So, it's confusing. But I'm still doubting myself. I made it short for you, but now it sounds like a childish summer romance. I'm sorry for that. I am going to visit him in 1.5 weeks, for an entire month. I told him that I won't have to come, but he's still waiting for me. What do you guys think of this? Edited February 23, 2017 by donotmicrowave

Why would you travel to see him after he has told you this? Especially that he has done this before. Don't be his doormat.
