Hello everyone, it is nice to be here with you all. I've always absolutely loved southern gentlemen, despite not having the ability to really date one (living up north in the east coast will limit your options), but I do vacation down once in a while to LA and TX. Their accents, manners, they just make my heart melt. My question is, do they typically find interest in fair-skinned, petite, thin/curvy Latina women? I'm in my early twenties, college educated, and intend on buying a home down south eventually. I am just curious. Thank you all, I look forward to hearing from you!

Men just like attractive women in general. So if you are attractive there shouldn't be a problem.

Short answer: no.

 

Long answer: Everyone, regardless of how they act or what cultural influences they have, has different taste. Does every northeastern Latina like southern gentlemen? No. So why would it be the reverse? Think of yourself as an individual, not a member of culture or subculture whose constituents all subscribe to certain rules of attraction. It just doesn't work like that.

Some do, if he hasn't already branded you undocumented alien. You'll find some decent men, but there is also a lot of prejudice. By the way, you should separate your periodic encounters with the real world. The myth of the Southern gentleman is a generalized myth. I am not from the South and often mistaken for someone who is. Manners, upbrining...I've lived in the South for 15+ years and have seen very few gentlemen down here.

A lot of those southern gentlemen and southern belle habits have all but disappeared. Be careful in assuming they will be that way. ''Tis a new day.

Careful romanticizing certain cultures. There are a-holes and cheaters in all of them.

Everyone has their own definition of attractiveness. Some find physical beauty as attractive with no brains while some find average body with brains while another will just say he doesn't know why he is attracted to her , lol !

 

When you see an odd couple then you might know what I'm saying lol
