I just don't see any interest in dating a girl now.It feels like numb and I had some bad experience with my crush but I can't tell because it is really embarrassing but I just don't see any meaning to impress a girl now.I quit and good luck to you all who are all dating . :)

Sorry for bad English as English is not my mother tongue. :)

Un poison violent, c'est ça l'amour

It isn't that all of the time, but it can sometimes seem that way.

I'm a good bit older than you, but I am feeling about the same right now. lol. Dating can be brutal. But hey, I'm sure it will improve. It can be frustrating but even though it seems pointless at times I feel like its worth it and can at least be fun sometimes.

Never try to *impress* girls, it's a total waste of time and energy. If you being *you* isn't enough for her to like you, move onto the next one, there are plenty of girls walking around.

You are 16. You have a lifetime to date. Concentrating on school work & friends now seems wise.

See how you feel about dating once you get to university.

You are only 16 and have been hurt apparently. Let yourself heal. Get out there and have fun doing other things. Feeling numb after being hurt is kinda normal. It's the mind's way of dealing with the hurt. This will pass if you don't dwell on it and keep busy.

Life is not a race and neither is dating. However, when a hurdle jumper knocks over a hurdle, they keep going. They don't stop moving forward and they don't look back at that hurdle. They look forward to/focus on the next hurdle.

At 16 you really shouldn't be spending too much time thinking about dating. Always put schoolwork and your achievements first, then worry about women when you're old like me ;)
