I am a senior in college, and I was with my housemates (Bob and Brent) enjoying dinner when one of my other housemates, John walks into the apartment with a girl (I have seen her around school and always thought she was attractive). I was actually shocked that she was in our apartment was a little jealous, I will admit. She introduced herself quickly by saying her name, and walked into John's room, with John. Her and John began watching tv and smoking weed.

After dinner, Bob, Brent, and I went into Brent's room (next door to John's room) to play video games. About forty minutes later, the girl walks into Brent's room where Bob, Brent and I were playing video games and was a little intrigued at what we were playing. I formally introduced myself this time and shook hands and all that.

A few seconds later, she randomly/slowly puts her hand on top of my head/hair and keeps it there for like 6-7 seconds. I froze because this was a girl that I have seen around school so many times, and found her so attractive (way out of my league) and now she was randomly touching me. I know she was high so I was wondering if this was the main reason or not. A few seconds later she went back into John's room.

Why would a girl do that? Did she think I was attractive? If so, I may take a chance and greet her/talk to her when I see her around campus. Still, I feel like I looked to into it haha.

Yes, she was high. No, you can't have her. Your roommate is dating her. Be a good guy and forget about it. She probably has some cute friends.

Could be anything. I rest my hand on my son's head to ground him when his autistic head movements start getting intense....

Anyway, her actions were too obscure and too stoned to read anything into.

Even if John isn't officially dating her, maybe he's trying to pursue her or something. You should check by asking a lighthearted question or something. I wouldn't read anything into her behaviour. She could be acting flirty because she's drunk/high. I've flirted with a few male friends when I've been drinking, especially when I was younger. Sometimes it meant something, and sometimes it didn't. But don't overthink it either. See what she is like sober.

I only put my head on someone's head like that when I regard them like a little child.
