I went out with this guy on a date yesterday, it was amazing, we even went back to my place and made out.

Well today he visited me for 2 hours, however he was so different. He didn't seem into me(physically) unlike yesterday. He also apologised for being kinda "indecent" so soon especially on first date. He also was formal and kept saying mean stuff to get me teased and annoyed . On his way out I was gonna kiss him goodbye and he turned his cheek as to show me not to kiss him on mouth(although we kissed yesterday)

Could it be perhaps because I was so chill about the whole thing even yesterday he was the one who initiated the whole making out session, he wanted to prove me that he is "hard to catch" and not as easy as he looked?

No. You said yourself he was mean to you. I think he's probably a very inexperienced guy who now feels like a rooster because he finally got to make out with a girl, but at the same time is judging you as if you are fast and loose and that's where that disrespect comes in.

Not because he didn't feel like making out today, but because it comes across as calculated. I say that because you wrote that he was making mean comments to you on the first date. That is a red flag. Now he's intentionally shutting you down for a kiss.

Don't have any more contact with him. Something is definitely not kosher about his behavior. Unless drinking was involved in the first date and he regrets it Cuz he normally takes things slower, but it's doubtful. Most guys, unfortunately, are dogs and want sex fast and often. There aren't many of us gentleman with old fashioned values

In my opinion as a guy and known to do/say weird things, I will try to help you out. Seems like he was physically aroused on your date, but once things starte to settle, his mind took over. He probably started thinking about your relationship and perhaps began to evaluate whether he wants to be with you or not. Since he is in this questionable state, he did not want to make physical contact. That is the best I can think of.
