Well here is the original story http://www.loveshack.org/forums/romantic/dating/607351-my-girlfriend-trying-make-me-jealous

But after a week I decided to give the whole trust thing a go and see what happens. She stopped contacting the guy but 4 weeks later I look at her messages and she resumed contact with him.

I ring her up saying i'm not going to your brothers wedding until we slow this relationship down or you can leave after a 4 hour phone call of going around in circles she chose to leave.

2 days later I send her a message saying i'm upset with how things ended and wished her luck in future but I asked for my stuff back. She called me a D*** and said she will mail them when she feels like it. I decided to keep the gifts she personally made for me figuring she wouldn't want them back and maybe later in life they might mean something.

Well I got my stuff back today and everything seemed fine until I discover she had knotted multiple times the gold necklace I bought her for Christmas.

I was in such a good mood this morning wondering what the future holds but now i'm so furious it seems like such childish behavior.

It's really unusual for a woman to tell her bf about other guys the way she did, although I have met a man or two who did it to me. People will tell me anything if I'll let them. I would say she has unusual boundary issues and also that she is self-destructive in that she sets herself up for her relationships to end.....sorry for your pain. I don't see how this could have ended any other way, really.

Well, hopefully you learned a valuable lesson about trust. Once you lose that, for whatever reason, it is nearly impossible to get back. Once you break up with someone because of it (like you originally did), you have to move on and never look back. There might be other instances where a break up was for other non serious reason and you both try again, but not when there are trust issues.
